Biography

Renowned composer in the field of musical illustration, Dominique Guiot studies guitar with his father musician.

Dominique studied mathematics at the Université Paris VII (Jussieu) before taking an internship in composition of the Groupe de Recherches Musicales in the class of Guy Reibel.

 

His achievements:

- the electroacoustic piece "l'oiseau de paradis" broadcast in concert on Radio France.

- a short film music "la petite gare" directed by Emmanuel Ciepka with Bernard Giraudeau

 

Dominique does his military service at the ECPA and produces several film scores, including those of Yves Ciampi.

He participates in several theatrical performances as an instrumentalist and actor, especially with the companies l'Athanor and Daniel Bazilier.

His first album of musical illustration is entitled “l'univers de la mer” released at Chicago 2000, and collaborates with many music bookstores such as Koka Media, Kosinus, MCT, CDM, Encore Merci, Sonoton.

He created a multitude of original music for institutional and advertising films for Régine Cardin Production, Afava, Renault, Les aéroports de Paris, the SNCF and composes credits and jingles for RTL, France 5, TF1 etc.
