Islam Niile has led and worked on several projects that have propelled the entrepreneurial and cultural industry in Sudan. Islam has experiences ranging from co-founding the first Sudanese network for entrepreneurship and innovation to facilitating the development of informal music education in Africa through the Global Music Association. She serves as a project manager and community lead at the Pan-African Foundation for Innovation in Policies (i4Policy), focusing on democratic policy reform. Islam was recently recognized among the most influential young people in Africa, and her work has been featured on Action Music Women.
