Swahili Blues Band is a group of friends who have been playing together since 2010 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Their songs tell stories of culture, politics, migration, inequality, and love. Swahili Blues Band has graced regional stages such as the Sauti za Busara festival in Zanzibar in 2012 and 2015, the International Bayimba Festival in Uganda in 2013, and the DOADOA Festival in 2015. They are currently in the studio recording their first album.
