Coming from Romania (Moldova), Tudorel Mihai comes from families of multi-instrumentalists over several generations. Through his apprenticeship in many tarafs celebrating marriages and all kinds of Catholic, Orthodox, klezmer or gypsy ceremonies, and engagements in state philharmonic orchestras, he had time to dig into the musical repertoire of his country, which no longer has any secrets for him. 

Tudorel Mihai has collaborated with Léontina Vaduva, French soprano, her mother Maria Ciobanu, and on the albums of Rona Hartner, Dj Click. 

He revisits in his own way Hora, Sirba, Batuta... and does not hesitate to adapt to electronic programming and play with time and new technologies.
