Baco Mourchid

Baco was born in Bandrélé, Mayotte, from a Mahorais father and a Malagasy mother. The singer lived in Mayotte until 13 years old before he decides to go to Ngazidja and give up his studies after the death of his father.

Baco produces and mixes his albums himself after having studied an engineer training at Paris Opéra.

Baco is inspired by Bob Marley and often talks about culture, music, god (Allah ou Jah), traditions, the fact of being Mahorais and the war.
